April Vacation Views

Coast Guard Beach, Eastham
Nauset Light Beach, Eastham
Old Mill Point Beach, West Harwich
Old Mill Point Beach, West Harwich

Our beaches stack up with the best of them, and are much better in terms of accessibility and swim-ability. We have a wonderful natural resource right at our doorsteps. Please use, appreciate and care for our neighborhood beaches.

We are so, so lucky.

It's filled with interesting articles and ideas about people, places and businesses here on Cape Cod. Even if the temperatures are still in the 30s around here, it'll feel like Spring before we know it. Hopefully.

And if you're a writer - or thinking of writing a book - make sure to check out my Write Way column, giving insight and ideas to help you get started and turn that seed of an idea into a book!

Get ready. Get set. Get into that Spring feeling with CapeWomenOnline!

Blizzard Update: New Book to Chase Away the Cold!

Okay, so it's totally blizzarding out there today - and it's already officially spring for goodness sakes! All over the Cape, we're suffering through yet another snow day off from school... but it makes sense because all morning was a whiteout. Not a lot of accumulation, but also no visibility. The winds have been whipping and there are plenty of branches down, but it's beginning to let up...

If you're also stuck indoors today, I do have a bit a good news - my new book went LIVE on Amazon today! Just $5.99 for the ebook! You can purchase it HERE. And read about springtime on Cape Cod, with a fun Harwich Port romance...

Katie's Newest Novel! Coming out this Summer!

My latest novel arrives in stores this July - but my new publisher will release it early on Kindle, for those of you who like ebooks!

MY KIND OF CRAZY is a Cape Cod romance, set in Harwich Port. The back of the book reads:

Kendall Roarke is betting everything on making her Harwichport Bed & Breakfast into the premier wedding destination on Cape Cod, despite her recent messy divorce.
Jonathan Reynolds moved back to the Cape to take over his uncle's business and start fresh after his own marriage ended. He's not looking for anything complicated - until he meets Kendall, with her big plans and wild mop of curls.
Throw an unruly foster puppy and an uptight new neighbor into the mix and things get a little crazy. Now Kendall has to decide if it's the kind of crazy that she can live with... for the rest of her life.

You can find it on Amazon exclusively for Kindle starting March 27th, and in paperback beginning July 30th.

(And if anyone is wondering about another mermaid story, the second book should be coming out in May! More details when they are available!)

"Signs" of Snow

But my favorite sign this month was over in Chatham, out front of Marion's Pie Shop....
