The paperback will be available July 30th, for those of you who prefer the feel of a "real" book.

The docks are in!
The docks are officially in! I watched them putting the float in the other day - and I've already received the bill from the marine company!

New Young Adult Mermaid Book! Coming this Summer!
Get ready for summer reading on the beach!
The second book of my mermaid series is coming later this month, and today is the big "cover reveal" - and look at this gorgeous cover the publisher has created for me! Cool, right? I love the way her dress resolves into a wave, or maybe it's the other way around.
If you haven't heard about my mermaid series, they are set in the fictional West Harwich neighborhood of "Windmill Point" and take place along that stretch of private beach and dock, and far below the surface of Nantucket Sound. In the second book, the action and adventure expands, with our hero and heroine journeying to far off places like the Aegean Sea as well as dungeons in the Arctic Circle. Here's the back-of-book blurb:
I especially love the way the covers go together - look at them side-by-side...

Mermaid blood.
When Shea MacNamara fell into the ocean for the first time, he found he could breathe underwater. The son of a mermaid, the sea is in his blood. Literally. The best part of Shea’s new life? His girlfriend Kae, who also happens to be a beautiful mermaid.
But darkness lurks under the sea. When evil mermen kidnap Kae, the king reminds Shea that having royal blood means making tough choices.
An Arctic dungeon, a fiery plane crash, the legendary halls of Atlantis…and narwhals?
Having mermaid blood just got a lot more complicated.

Our

accessibility and swim-ability. We have a wonderful natural resource
right at our doorsteps. Please use, appreciate and care for our
neighborhood beaches.
We are so, so lucky.

It's filled with interesting articles and ideas about people, places and businesses here on Cape Cod. Even if the temperatures are still in the 30s around here, it'll feel like Spring before we know it. Hopefully.
And if you're a writer - or thinking of writing a book - make sure to check out my Write Way column, giving insight and ideas to help you get started and turn that seed of an idea into a book!
Get ready. Get set. Get into that Spring feeling with CapeWomenOnline!
