B-B-Bye to J-J-January

Photos from this week in OMP...

It's been bitterly cold for a few days now, although we haven't been blessed with the East Coast storm that's plaguing the southeastern seaboard. We're just having snow showers and frigid temps. Yesterday it was 10 degrees outside as I sat at my computer. This morning it's a balmy 25 degrees.

I saw a group of a dozen confused Robins in my front yard earlier in the week - maybe they had confused the January thaw with spring? I've also seen a pair of giant Red-Tailed Hawks surveying the neighborhood, looking for a spot to settle down and raise a family no doubt. We've seen flurry evidence of their successful hunts on a few deserted front lawns.

Stay warm! February is usually a warmer (and snowier?) month.
