Happy Fourth of July Weekend! I'm not sure I could have asked for better weather!
Friday night's cocktail party at the Volpe's beautiful home was a huge success - many thanks to Carol and Lou for hosting... and for getting Mother Nature to provide such a perfect evening!
Saturday - wow, what gor-geee -ous sunshine! The beach was freshly raked and the water sparkled. There was a bit of complaining about sunburn at bedtime, but there was really nothing else to complain about for the day!
Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful Fourth of July with family and friends! I have no details on the neighborhood parade yet - but I'm hoping that flyers arrive in our doorways or posters are tacked to the telephone poles soon so we can plan to be there, camera in hand ;-)
